A BCKV Alumnus with more than Thirty two years of Experience in ICAR mechanisms. He retired as a Principal Scientist of ICAR and is a universally recognized authority on entomology. He possesses an extremely lucid knowledge of Indian Agriculture, Cropping and Farmers. Post retirement he dedicatedly focused on “Lab to Field” propagation of technologies. One of his notable projects during his service at Sudharma was his involvement as a co-scientist during the development of the dynamic part of ICT-enabled agricultural extension technology and management.
Tenacious and a highly motivated go-getter, his presence at Sudharma imbues the company with professionalism, poise and integrity, prompt turn around times and accelerated growth. A successful Cultivator of Research Operations in the field of Agriculture, he is adroit in assessing existing processes and designing and implementing measures accordingly aimed at enhancing Efficiency and Organizational Effectiveness. One of the vital assets he brings to the table is an in depth knowledge of the intricacies of the agricultural industry in India. Over the course of his many endeavours he has witnessed vast changes in the Indian economy and has ridden the changes in a steadfast manner with undiminised enthusiasm. Anupam Deb

A visionary, innovator and a renowned Agri-Business Leader. He is the Founding Chairman of the company and an Advisor of the Agribusiness Incubation Project, ICAR (NIRJAFT).
He started off his career as a micro entrepreneur in the field of Agri-Business in 1990. In 2006, he founded the Institute of Farm Management & Entrepreneurship Development. Although he is a student of science & management, his educational values and experiences have been supremely enriched due to his forays into a wide spectrum of practical activities.
As a Principal Innovator of ICT enabled-agricultural extension technology and management customized Green Gifting concept, Nano Farming Technology for urban people and a host of other innovations, he is renowned in the field of Agri-Business, Farming and Livelihood Value Chain Architecture in India and the subcontinent. An accomplished Business Leader with more than 23 years of experience in restructuring and development of organizations through transformations tailored to suit share holder requirements and industry benchmarks.
B.S. Panda
Consultant – Finance &Taxation
He is a registered member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and holds an LLB degree as well. With his profound industry experience over a period of 30 years and his interactions with a large number of leading businesses and industry houses in every domain imaginable, he has established stellar expertise to impart the requisite professional services with due care of professional ethics. His belief in offering high quality and uniquely focused services to every client has helped Sudharma immensely in building long lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with clients. He possesses core expertise in financial viability study, financial analysis and research, DPR and LOI preparation, handling cases on all direct & indirect taxes and a host of other activities. His vast experience encompasses financial audits, assessment cases, company laws, taxation cases and project planning among others.

Executive officer
A St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata alumnus and an established Management Leader, he has more than 25 years of industry experience in restructuring and development of organizations. His expertise includes understanding Financial and operational research, consumer insights, conducting market research, analyzing project dimensions and cost, designing and finalizing of research tools, interpretation of market data, development of business cases both in-house and through agencies to analyse customer requirements & spotting latest industry trends. He is proficient in handling launches of new products and extensions of established products or brands with a keen focus on Strategic Marketing Dimensions. A perfect leader, one who transforms core values into Visions for Business, connects strategy with execution and empowers teams and individuals to exceed goals. As an Executive he is adept in creating effective operating models, programs and processes to ensure sustainable results and continuous improvements in execution and financial aspects.
With his hawk-eyed precision, he always brings to the table an immense amount of attention to detail with which he executes any project. This style has suited our company supremely well. K. Chattopadhyay

An Innovative Agri-Business Entrepreneur with a wide practical knowledge base in Horticulture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and especially in Organic Farming. Before joining the company he was an independent Agri-Business Consultant and Counselor over a period of 15 years. Alongside this, he was engaged in his own farming business of commercial crops and domestic trade of Agro-Produce. He is a strong leader, capable of accelerating Institutional Growth with Ethical Professionalism. Jubilant in nature, he is always eager to tackle any organizational problems arising in the company head on. He is pro-active and always ready with unique suggestions regarding his field of work.
As an independent consultant he worked with a variety of MSME clients over the years. He is the only one in the list who has maximum experience in the MSME domain. He is an ardent believer in tacking problems in the agricultural field by sourcing methods from other fields. What this allows him to do is to approach every problem through a different perspective and hence come up with novel solutions to conventional and unconventional problems. Dr. A. Bandopadhyay
Head – Project Research
She holds a doctorate with a specialization in Mycology and Plant Pathology. She developed her skillsets under the aegis of her father, Dr. Arup Kumar Bandopadhyay, who was a renowned Principal Scientist of Mycology and Plant Pathology in ICAR and served in the field of Integrated Plant Disease Management and Growth Promotion for more than 30 years. She possesses over 10 years of Research experience in the field of Integrated Plant Disease management and growth promotion through eco-friendly approach using biopesticides, Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) and biofertilizers for low cost environmentally friendly sustainable agriculture. She delivered lectures and presentations in several National and International Seminars and Symposia on Biological Control of Plant Diseases and Growth Promotion.She actively trained hundreds of farmers with her lectures and demonstrations on the relevant areas in several agricultural platforms. She is a Life Member of prominent institutions like the Indian Mycological Society, Department of Botany- University of Calcutta, Indian Phytopathological Society, Dept. of Plant Pathology, IARI, New Delhi and a Member of the Asian PGPR Society for Sustainable Agriculture (Groundnut Pathology Unit of ICRISAT located in Patencheru, Telengana). She also has a strong track record in different types of back end research and project formulation.
